Biography

Ms. Gordon concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration. She works with both individual and institutional clients and routinely represents fiduciaries in probate, trust, and guardianship administration matters. Her clients benefit from her years of experience and in-depth knowledge of estate planning, trust and probate law.

Ms. Gordon has been designated a top legal professional in the field of estate planning.  She has repeatedly been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer and was named a Top Lawyer in estate planning by The Legal Network.  She has authored guidebooks on estate planning and asset protection planning for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the premier legal education guide to Illinois attorneys.  She also regularly authors articles and guides for both the Illinois and Chicago bar associations.

Ms. Gordon handles a wide range of estate planning for her clients, including business succession planning, charitable planning, and other tax reduction strategies.  She also has vast experience in planning for clients with special needs

Prior to joining Monahan Law Group, LLC, Ms. Gordon served as a longtime partner at a boutique estate and tax planning firm where she assisted clients with estate planning and transfer tax reduction techniques.
